Removed Review ID and Marking
November 10, 2022

LocalClarity is thrilled to announce our most recent feature enhancement that is capable of automatically identifying and marking removed reviews.

Background

Due to limitations in Google’s systems, businesses have traditionally had no visibility to reviews that were removed (either by the customer or Google directly). When a review is removed from Google there is no trigger mechanism for notification. Over time, this would cause the review totals in LocalClarity to exceed those remaining on Google for the listing. This presented a data accuracy challenge, making it essential for LocalClarity to develop a solution to identify and track removed reviews within our platform.

Details

LocalClarity can now automatically identify and mark removed reviews. LocalClarity will keep visibility of the removed review in your ReviewsInbox™. This will allow you to see which reviews were removed and when. Your data count can now be understood through total number of posted, visible reviews and total number of reviews (inclusive of those that have been removed or deleted, either by the reviewer or by Google).

What's Next

LocalClarity is excited to announce that we are working on, and hope to release soon, our timeline project and the ability to search for updated reviews. Please see our release update on time stamp dates for more information!
