There are multiple things that can impact your total active location count in LocalClarity. The biggest culprits will be updating the open status of your locations. If you mark a location as temporarily or permanently closed, this will automatically update the total active location count.
Unsure, if these changes were made my someone in your team or through community suggested edits? You can validate directly in the platform using our Google Audit functionality. It is important to keep track of the public and your own profile users making changes to GBP Listings. The LocalClarity system relies on communication from Google to trigger real-time email notices. It's a well know industry issue that Google doesn't send every single edit notification.
To start regularly receiving your Google Audit, follow the instructions Here.
You can set the timing for the Sync Audits from Settings > Profile Settings . Each pull is set for 12:00AM of the day selected, and you can select up to three days per week to pull in these changes.
If any data point of any location in your profile is different from the prior sync, the variance is logged and a report is generated. Account admins can view your reports by going to Settings > Google Audit and select a log report from the drop-down. Having a consistent record of changes to your listings can help you quickly identify when changes were made and how to address them. This is the first available process to provide 100% visibility to any GMB listing changes at enterprise scale.
