Microsoft has updated its Bing Copilot, to provide expanded generative search capabilities for informational queries like “how to effectively train for a marathon.” Users in the U.S. can try it by searching for “Bing generative search” and exploring a carousel of related queries.
This feature combines traditional Bing results with advanced language models to generate better tailored answers. Although Deep Search is still in beta, users will see results marked as “enhanced with Bing generative search.” Microsoft aims to improve accuracy while supporting publishers with citations and links, signaling exciting developments in AI-driven search. This appears to be another step for AI being a more robust way to search.
