Google Business Profile (formerly GMB) Provides a Useful Tool to Submit and Track Reviews for Removal
Google has launched a helpful tool to help people track their reported reviews for removal. This feature seems to only work for Google Business Profile accounts with few listings in them. If you exceed 30 listings, this feature is not available.
While Google doesn't involve itself when customers and businesses disagree on the facts, Google does provide content policies. With the volume of reports Google receives, it can take several days to a week to get a response. Removed reviews are taken down from Google Maps and Google Search. It's important to note, if you flag a review but the verdict says that it doesn’t violate Google Policies, you can submit a one-time appeal.
