Google Business Profile LSA Categories July 2023

Google has created categories for Local Service Area Businesses (LSA's) that are being launched in Florida and California before being implemented elsewhere. The list includes auto body, auto repair, car wash and detailing, tire shops, towing, hair removal, hair salons, nail salons, piercing/tattoo, cell/laptop repair, insurance agencies, solar energy, storage, and barbershop. In addition, guidelines for Local Service Area photos have been consolidated, making it easier for users to follow. Users can also opt to get their LSA leads sent by way of text.
