Google Business Profile (Former GBP) Suspension Email Notification
Google has a practice of notifying businesses when they are suspended from their Google Business Profile. Instead of being suspended (and labeled as such in Google Business Profile), Google sends out email notifications. The email will state why the business was suspended.
Examples for suspensions include spammy content tactics, a violation of Google's Guidelines, or a sudden change in address that isn't properly registered. Google makes a distinction between hard and soft suspensions, issuing the former when spammy tactics are employed or the search engine decides your business does not qualify. In the case of soft suspensions, the owner's Knowledge Panel/Business Profile still displays, and the account is accessible in the GBP dashboard, but it looks as if it hasn’t been verified and you can’t manage or update your listing.
