Google's Updated Quality Search Raters Guidelines Are Parsing for Relevance and Accuracy
Google has updated its search quality raters guidelines. Updates include but are not limited to adding examples of popular platforms and video formats, removing outdated content, updated language examples, and general typo cleanup across Google.
As the search engine has long claimed, these additions are in service of relevance, accuracy, and consistency. While search quality evaluators’ ratings do not directly impact rankings, they do provide feedback that helps Google improve its algorithms.
