Match review changes accurately with LocalClarity's Review Synchronization feature.
Our newest improvement to Review Management is to make sure you always receiving the most accurate reviews when accessing your ReviewsInbox™ data.
We have now rolled out a Review Synchronization feature that makes sure that you are always seeing the most accurate data in LocalClarity. This is done by checking with Google's database for any reviews that may have been removed or updated. This feature is not automatically turned on and requires you to opt into both.
Review Synchronization can be found under the Review Settings section of your Settings tab. If you are not able to view this section due to your user permissions, reach out to your Admin or [email protected] to verify whether or not this feature is on.
Activating Review Synchronization
Start in the Settings. Click on the Review Settings section, then scroll down to Review Synchronization. You then can click to toggle between turning these weekly and monthly features on and off.
Before exiting the Review Settings section, remember to click on Save at the bottom on the screen. This will then trigger the initial update for identifying removed reviews and updated reviews.
You have now successfully started the re-indexing process for both updated reviews and deleted reviews. Please wait up to 18 hours for our database to reflect these changes reflected in LocalClarity.
Details: Re-Index reviews monthly to identify removed reviews
Google is constantly updating and removing reviews that they find has either violated terms of service, is deemed irrelevant after being flagged for review, or has simply been deleted by the user. Once a month our system will communicate with Google via the API connection, to make sure that these removed reviews are reflected in our database. You can find these changes shown in your ReviewsInbox™ under the Removed section.
Details: Re-Index reviews weekly to identify updated reviews
It is not uncommon for users to update a review after their comment has been replied to. To account for that we are now able to update a review to reflect these changes. Once a week our system will communicate with Google via the API connection, to include the original date of the review and the updated review date. If a review has been replied, to the date will also be included when viewing.
